Chris Banke – Dog Training Company

At the age of 19, Chris Banke founded his dog training company which would be his first business. He then went on to found what has now become one of the largest training facilities in America that is currently located in Northern Vermont. After his training facility was launched and running, Chris Banke went on to found his own breeding kennel as well, “vom maechtigen Turm.” These two businesses have been thriving which is a strong reflection of his work ethic and passion for his career. His dog training facility has gone on to train dogs that have been employed by the police department as well as the entertainment industry.

Chris Banke, Passion for Training German Shepherd Dogs

At the young age of 19, Chris Banke started his own dog training business titled, “Chris Banke Protection Dog Trainer.” He did this after having found success in the training world through competitions and having some wonderful opportunities to train under some of the most reputable dog trainers in the United States. During that time, he discovered more than a passion, but a love for training dogs. He then went on to train multiple dogs to IPO/Schutzhund III and continued coaching and doing helper work for other competitive handlers as well. He also was the first American to compete in the RSV2000 World Championship with his dog Iriac vd Maineiche Ipo3. After that was when Chris Banke started his own breeding kennel named “vom maechtigen Turm.” Many of the dogs he bred would go on to compete in Schutzhund IPO on regional and national levels or to work in law enforcement. The success of his training facility as well as his kennel is a reflection of the passion and dedication in which he runs his businesses.

A passion for dog training has always been what has inspired and fueled Chris Banke. When he first began training as a teen with a doberman named “Dana” as his first student, little did he know that it would become his career. His passion for training grew after that and at 15, he discovered the Algemeiner Schutzhund Club. At the Algemeiner Schutzhund Club is where he met Margarete Iaquinto. Margarete helped develop Chris Banke’s passion even for more breed specific training, and to be more specific, the training of the German Shepherd dog.

Chris Banke, Passionate Dog Trainer

Chris Banke is a passionate dog trainer. He started training as a teenager with a doberman named “Dana” as his first student. After discovering his love for training, he found the Algemeiner Schutzhund Club at the age of 15. The club is where he met Margarete Iaquinto. Margarete is responsible for creating Chris Banke’s passion for more breed specific training, the training of the German Shepherd Dog. She also was the breeder that bred his first German Shepherd Dog named, “Chief.” Chief was titled in Schutzhund.

After honing in on his skills, Chris Banke was soon excelling in helper work and by 18 years of age, he was a helper in several Schutzhund trials. During his time helping, he met a trainer named Smitty who was one of the top ten trainers in the United States and Smitty helped him sharpen his training skills even more.

After having some success in the training world and having the opportunity to train under some of the most respected dog trainers in the country, Chris Banke founded his own dog training business titled, “Chris Banke Protection Dog Trainer” at the age of 19. He trained multiple dogs to IPO/Schutzhund III and also was coaching and doing helper work for other competitive handlers. Chris then went on to start his own breeding kennel named “vom maechtigen Turm.” Several of the dogs he bred would go on to compete in Schutzhund IPO on regional and national levels. Many of the dogs he has bred have also gone on to work in law enforcement.
